About RBI

RBI was created 19 years ago by John Young to increase inner-city and urban youth interest and participation in baseball and softball, also RBI encourages academic achievement and helps to build self-esteem and teamwork.

Oak Park Youth RBI is the first one in Northern California. Alumni players from this program include Justin Upton, Jimmy Rollins, C.C. Sabathia, Dontrelle Willis, Ryan Howard, James Loney, and Cocco Crisp.
